Thoughtful Restorative Solutions

Restorative dentistry at Dentistry With Care is focused on repairing damaged teeth and restoring comfort, function, and confidence. This service supports patients who are experiencing discomfort, structural damage, or missing teeth, offering carefully planned solutions that prioritise long-term oral health. Every recommendation is guided by honest advice and a clear explanation of options, ensuring patients feel informed and supported throughout their treatment journey.

Treatments such as dental crowns, bridges, root canal therapy, and solutions for missing teeth are tailored to each patient’s needs and comfort levels. We focus on restoring function while preserving natural tooth structure where possible, allowing patients to return to everyday life with confidence, comfort, and clarity about their care.

Root Canal Therapy

A root canal can save an infected tooth by treating the tissue inside the tooth if it has died or became infected. If the tooth is not treated it can result in a tooth extraction. The tissue inside the tooth is called the pulp or the nerve of the tooth. If the pulp is infected, there can be irreversible damage, decay or cracks.

An untreated infection of the tooth pulp can also affect the jawbone and lead to an abscess. An abscess can be life-threatening if it continues to spread, so it’s important to get an infected tooth checked out by a dentist as soon as possible.

Don’t put off seeing a dentist if you think a root canal is needed. We use anaesthetics so that you don’t feel the procedure. You will feel no or very little pain. If you experience a little bit of pain we can give you more anesthetics so that you don’t feel anything.

After the procedure you may feel a little bit of discomfort or pain. If you are concerned about this we can advise you medication you can get to help relieve any discomfort.

 What is a Dental Crown?

Dental crowns, also known as “caps” cover an entire visible tooth. Teeth that require dental crowns are usually teeth that are broken, decayed or severely discoloured.

A dental crown improves the structure of the tooth. If the entire surface of the tooth has issues but the root of the tooth is intact, a crown may be the ideal solution.
